Rucher du coeur d’Hérault is a bee farm located in the South of France. Specializing in supplying bees and beehives, their primary clientele includes professional beekeepers and farmers, as well as enthusiasts looking to start their own beekeeping journey.
As a UX/UI Designer and WordPress builder, I had the privilege of collaborating with Rucher du coeur d’Hérault to establish their digital presence through an ecommerce platform. The primary objective of this project was to create a flowless user experience on the website, particularly with professional beekeepers in mind.
The key challenges and goals for this project included:
Rapidity: Recognizing the busy schedules of professional beekeepers, the website aimed to simplify the ordering process, ensuring that each item could be accessed and ordered within a few clicks.
SEO Optimization: To expand the reach of Rucher du coeur d’Hérault and make their website easily discoverable by local beekeepers, a robust SEO strategy was implemented.
Education: The website sought to serve as a valuable resource, offering guidance and information for individuals curious about entering the world of beekeeping.
In this project, I assumed the role of a UX/UI Designer and the WordPress builder. My responsibilities included creating a user-friendly design, optimizing the website’s performance, and ensuring an intuitive ordering process for the client’s customers.
The project reached remarkable outcomes:
Sales Success: The ecommerce platform facilitated a significant boost in sales, with Rucher du coeur d’Hérault selling out their bee stock within a few weeks during the ordering season.
SEO Excellence: Thanks to strategic keyword selection and SEO optimization, the website achieved a prominent position among the first organic search results, thereby increasing its visibility to beekeepers in the region.
